Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer features a mix of returning classics like the iconic maps from 2009’s MW2 and new improvements like the overhauled Perk system. The Perk changes are not the only new mechanic in MW3, as the devs also implemented the Armory Unlock system.
While MW3 players can unlock items by ranking up from Level 1 to Level 55, the Armory Unlock system brings another unlock method. This new feature gives players more control over the unlock order of certain items as you can choose which Perks, weapons, Equipment, Killstreaks, and more to go after first.

If you’re looking for new ways to inflict pain on your enemies and pile on the hurt, unlocking top-tier Killstreaks like the Gunship is a great idea. Some players may be looking to move away from the standard Frag Grenade and Stun Grenade Equipment combo, and mixing in a Semtex and Flash Grenade is a great place to start.
