Modern Warfare 3 provides fans with a limited pool of Killstreaks to play with, including some brand-new ones. Here’s a breakdown of every Killstreak in MW3.
There’s always plenty of excitement when a new Call of Duty rolls around, but Modern Warfare 3 has the community even more hyped than usual. The sequel to 2022’s MW2 is bringing back iconic maps from 2009, as well as a new Perk system and fresh game modes.
On top of all this, the new title also looks to bring a host of new and returning Killstreaks to multiplayer. Here’s every Killstreak available in Modern Warfare 3.
Modern Warfare 3 Killstreaks & Scorestreaks explained
Modern Warfare 3 Killstreaks are powerful rewards earned by chaining together multiple eliminations without dying. Three Killstreaks can be equipped at any time, ranging from turrets and air support that can pick off enemies at a rapid pace, or Killstreaks that grant you and your team valuable intel such as enemy locations.
Much like last year, kills earned by your Killstreaks don’t count towards your streak, so you’ll have to secure the eliminations yourself to unlock the next rewards.
Modern Warfare 3 also gives players the option to switch to Scorestreaks. This allows them to unlock Killstreaks by getting assists and capturing objectives as well as kills, but the amount required is slightly higher.
