Honkai Star Rail finally brought the 2.2 update, so here’s how to build Robin in HSR with the best Light Cone, Relic sets, and teams, alongside her materials and Eidolons.

Honkai Star Rail is wrapping up its biggest story yet, and the 2.2 update added Robin as a playable character after many twists and turns.

If you got her in the game, here’s how to build Robin with the best Light Cone, Relics, and teammates.

Robin abilities in Honkai Star Rail

Robin is a Physical element character in the Path of The Harmony in Honkai Star Rail. This means she specializes in boosting allies’ abilities as a support character. Hanya shares Robin’s element and Path, but she’s a four-star unit in HoYoverse’s RPG.

Here’s Robin’s full kit in HSR:

  • Wingflip White Noise (Basic ATK) – Deals Physical DMG to a single enemy.
  • Pinion’s Aria (Skill) – Increase DMG dealt by allies for 3 turns. This duration decreases by 1 at the start of Robin’s turn.
  • Vox Harmonique, Opus Cosmique (Ultimate) – Robin enters the Concerto state, increasing all allies’ ATK and causing all allies except Robin to immediately take action. After every attack by allies, Robin deals additional Physical DMG. The CRIT Rate for this damage is set at 100% and CRIT DMG at 150%. When in the Concerto state, Robin is immune to crowd control debuffs and cannot take action before the Concerto state ends. A Concerto countdown appears on the Action Order bar. When the countdown’s turn begins, Robin exits the Concerto state and immediately takes action. The countdown has its own fixed SPD of 90.
  • Tonal Resonance (Talent) – Increases all allies’ CRIT DMG. Also, after allies attack enemy targets, Robin additionally regenerates 2 Energy for herself.
  • Overture of Inebriation (Technique) – After using the Technique, creates a dimension around the character that lasts for 15 seconds. Enemies within this dimension will not attack Robin and will follow Robin while the dimension is active. After entering battle while the dimension is active, Robin additionally regenerates 5 Energy at the start of each wave.

Even if Robin doesn’t seem to add much to the role, she can be a great pull for those who don’t have Bronya, Tingyun, Sparkle, or Ruan Mei. Robin is also best suited for follow-up attack-based teams. The Ultimate is her strongest weapon, as it can make all allies take action to obliterate an enemy in crucial moments.

Increasing Robin’s ATK is key, as her buffs rely on that stat. You might also want to enhance her SPD and Energy Regen so she can keep participating in battle often and have her Ultimate ready at any time.

Best Relics for Robin in Honkai Star Rail

Musketeer of Wild Wheat

  • Two-piece bonus: ATK increases by 10%.
  • Four-piece bonus: The wearer’s SPD increases by 6% and Basic ATK DMG increases by 10%.

Since Robin’s abilities rely on her ATK in Honkai Star Rail, Musketeer of Wild Wheat is a great Relic set for her. Luckily for players, it’s the easiest set to get in the game, so you probably have a couple in your inventory already and you can try it out.

Messenger Traversing Hackerspace

  • Two-piece bonus: Increases SPD by 6%.
  • Four-piece bonus: When the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally, SPD for all allies increases by 12% for 1 turn. This effect cannot be stacked.

If you’re looking to increase Robin’s SPD, Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is a great alternative. Keep in mind that you can go for the two-piece set to combine its effects with other Relics.

The Ashblazing Grand Duke

  • Two-piece bonus: Increases the DMG dealt by follow-up attacks by 20%.
  • Four-piece bonus: When the wearer uses follow-up attacks, increases the ATK by 6% for every time the follow-up attack deals DMG. This effect can stack up to 8 times and lasts for 3 turns.

Robin is a great addition to follow-up attack-based teams, and The Ashblazing Grand Duke set also increases her ATK during battles, which improves pretty much her whole kit.

Prisoner in Deep Confinement and Champion of Streetwise Boxing can also work well for Robin, as you’ll only need the effects granted by a two-piece set.

Best Planar Ornament for Robin in Honkai Star Rail

Space Sealing Station is a great Planar Ornament for Robin in Honkai Star Rail. It’s pretty straightforward, as it increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%, and then by an extra 12% when their SPD reaches 120 or higher.

Firmament Frontline: Glamoth is very similar, as it also increases the wearer’s ATK by 12% for starters. Then, when the wearer’s SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.

Penacony, Land of the Dreams increases Robin’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5% and can increase DMG by 10% for all other allies that are of the same Type as her, so you’ll need to pair her with Physical characters.

Lastly, Sprightly Vonwacq also starts by increasing the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. Then, when the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s action is Advanced Forward by 40% immediately upon entering battle. This can let Robin charge her Ultimate very fast to use it as soon as possible.

Best Light Cone for Robin in Honkai Star Rail

Flowing Nightglow

Robin’s signature Light Cone in Honkai Star Rail gives her 1 stack of Cantillation every time any ally attacks. Each stack of Cantillation increases her Energy Regeneration Rate by at least 3%, up to 5 stacks. When she uses her Ultimate, removes Cantillation and gains Cadenza. Cadenza increases her ATK by at least 48% and the team’s DMG dealt by at least 24% for 1 turn.

These effects are exactly what Robin needs for her kit, so you should try to get her Light Cone while her banner is still active.

But the Battle Isn’t Over

Bronya‘s Light Cone increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by up to 18% and regenerates 1 Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally. This is already perfect for Robin, but that’s not all. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals up to 50% more DMG for 1 turn, which builds on top of Robin’s abilities for even better results.

Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds

With Tingyun‘s Light Cone, one of the following effects is applied randomly at the start of combat and whenever the wearer takes action:

  • Increase all allies’ ATK by 10~20%
  • Increase all allies’ CRIT DMG by 12~24%
  • Increase all allies’ Energy Regeneration Rate by 6~12%.

It’s worth noting that the applied effect cannot be identical to the previous effect applied. Also, the effects are removed when the wearer is knocked down. All these effects work great in Robin’s kit, so this Light Cone is a great addition if you can grab it.

Best Honkai Star Rail teams for Robin

The best teams for Robin are made of follow-up attack characters in Honkai Star Rail, so your best bet is to pair her with Dr. Ratio, Topaz, and Aventurine, if you have the chance. Since Robin is a support character, all you need to do is pair her with a healer, a shielder, and a DPS. If you have a good sustain that can provide powerful shields, you can replace the healer with a sub-DPS to deal more DMG.

If you’re looking for a free-to-play composition, you can pick Herta as DPS, Natasha or Lynx as healer, and Asta as another support that can improve her allies’ SPD and ATK.

You can add Robin to almost any team, as she’ll only provide support abilities for her allies. In that sense, Huohuo is a great sustain to pair with her because her Ultimate regenerates her allies’ Energy, and Robin can benefit from that greatly.
