But over a year after it first launched, how many people are still hooked on the game? Here’s the player count for Honkai Star Rail in August 2024.

Honkai Star Rail had 21,012,655 players between July and August, according to Activeplayer.io, with 5,673,417 players logging into the game daily on average. Keep in mind that these stats are across all platforms HSR is available on.
It’s also worth noting that this isn’t a player count tracked by the game, so it might not be fully accurate. Unfortunately, there’s no way of knowing the true player count number unless the devs release official numbers.
HoYoverseThe number is likely around this mark, especially as the game has had well over 30 million downloads. With Honkai Star Rail receiving new content through frequent updates from the developers, this number is expected to grow.
