How to get Tears of Dreams in Honkai Star Rail

Version 1.6 of Honkai Star Rail is live, and it brings all the staples that you expect from the HoYoverse RPG – new characters, events, and this time even a brand new endgame mode. You can also get the latest five-star unit, Dr. Ratio, for free, starting with version 1.6 for a limited time. 

Of course, with new characters added, on top of an already extensive list of characters, collecting resources and upgrading them can be a bit of work for some players. Honkai Star Rail 1.6 now allows players to ease that up with Tears of Dreams, but there are only limited ways to get them.

What are Tears of Dreams in Honkai Star Rail 

Tears of Dreams in Honkai Star Rail are a substitute ascension material for Light Cone and Trace upgrades. In case you have an insufficient amount of materials for the said upgrades, you can instead use Tears of Dreams. 

How to get Tears of Dreams in Honkai Star Rail 

Currently, the only way to obtain Tears of Dreams in Honkai Star Rail is through the paid track of Battle Pass. It appears there are no other ways to get them as of yet. 

However, you should receive x150 Tears of Dreams in your in-game mail as a part of 1.6 maintenance compensation. It isn’t clear whether HoYoverse will continue the trend for the upcoming versions.
