Pokemon Go is getting ready for its biggest annual celebration: Pokemon Go Fest 2024. After the first official announcement, players want to know everything about the event that will take place all around the world in the Pokemon title.

So, here’s everything you need to know about Pokemon Go Fest 2024, including dates for in-person and Global events, confirmed debuts, tickets, and more.

Pokemon Go Fest 2024 event dates & schedule

The Pokemon Go Fest 2024 event will take place on the following dates and locations:

• May 30 to June 2: Sendai, Japan
• June 14 to June 16: Madrid, Spain
• July 5 to July 7: New York City, USA
• July 13 to July 14: Global

Pokemon Go Fest 2024 locations & tickets

Sendai, Japan

Pokemon Go players in Sendai, Japan, will be able to “split their day between exploring Nanakita Park and adventuring throughout Sendai City,” according to the official blog post. The event ticket costs ¥3100 and gives players access to all activities in both Nanakita Park and Sendai City between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM. Players will be able to choose which location they’ll visit first.

Additionally, ticket-holders can also purchase add-ons to unlock other benefits and bonuses during the event.

Madrid, Spain

Parque Juan Carlos I and the city of Madrid will be the main locations for Pokemon Go Fest attendees in Spain. The event ticket can be purchased for €27 and gives players access to all activities between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Ticket add-ons are also available for purchase.

New York City, USA

Lastly, US trainers can purchase the Pokemon Go Fest 2024 ticket for $25 to be able to explore Randall’s Island Park and New York City. The in-person event will take place between 9 AM and 7 PM.

Pokemon Go Fest 2024 Ticket add-ons

There are a total of four add-ons available for purchase on the official Pokemon Go Fest 2024 website:

Raid Lover – ￥1,900 / €17 / $15

• Up to 18 free Raid Passes per day by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
• 5,000 additional XP awarded for completed raids.
• 6 additional Candy for catching Pokemon in 5-star and Mega Raids.
• 3 additional Candy XL for catching Pokemon in 5-star and Mega Raids (Trainers level 31+).

Egg-thusiast – ￥1,900 / €17 / $15

• 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance.
• 3× Hatch Stardust.
• 3× Hatch XP.
• 3× Hatch Candy.

Citywide Gameplay – ￥2,600 / €23 / $20

• This add-on provides an additional day of the same citywide gameplay experience that is available on your primary event day; however, it does not include additional Special or Timed Research.
• This add-on only enables additional citywide gameplay and not in the park.

T-shirt Pre-order – ￥3,700 / €27 / $27

• Pre-order your in-person event-exclusive Pokemon Go Fest 2024 T-shirt now and pick it up in-person during the event. Each T-shirt purchased will also come with a code that can be redeemed for a matching in-app avatar item.

Pokemon Go Fest 2024 Marshadow debut

Mythical Pokemon Marshadow will finally debut in Pokemon Go with Go Fest 2024. Ticket holders will be able to get the debuting creature through a new Special Research that will be available during the event.

Pokemon Go Fest 2024 Necrozma debut

Niantic have also teased that Necrozma is coming to Pokemon Go Fest 2024. The Legendary Pokemon from Pokemon Sun & Moon will make its way into the mobile game with the event, but there aren’t more details to share at the moment.

Pokemon Go Fest 2024 Global ticket holder exclusives

Players who decide to upgrade their Pokemon Go Fest 2024 Global experience with a premium ticket will enjoy a wide array of exclusive benefits. While the main attraction is the Marshadow-themed Special Research, players will also be able to contribute to hourly challenges to unlock exclusive bonuses.

Additionally, they’ll enjoy the following bonuses:

• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokemon.
• Up to six Special Trades can be made each day.
• Level up your Elite Collector medal by completing habitat-themed Collection Challenges!
