Amaura is featured during the Adventure Week 2023 event, from Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 10 AM to Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 8 PM (local time). This means players have more chances of encountering Amaura while playing the mobile game.
In normal circumstances, trainers can only get Amaura by hatching 10 km Eggs.

How to evolve Amaura into Aurorus in Pokemon Go
To evolve Amaura into Aurorus in Pokemon Go, players need to use 50 Amaura Candy and tap the ‘Evolve’ button during the night.
You won’t be able to evolve Amaura during the day, so keep that in mind. You can check the in-game sky to see when it’s nighttime, but it’s usually between 6 PM and 6 AM.
Can Amaura & Aurorus be shiny in Pokemon Go?
Shiny Amaura is available in Pokemon Go starting July 27. The Adventure Week 2023 event brought its shiny debut, so players can find shiny Amaura in the wild and by hatching Eggs.
