More fan-favorite Pokemon are making their way into Pokemon Go, and now it’s the turn for another Legendary to join the party, according to the latest X teaser.

After a successful Go Tour: Sinnoh event, Pokemon Go is getting ready for the biggest celebration of the year: Pokemon Go Fest 2024. With Marshadow confirmed as the featured Mythical, trainers are eagerly waiting for more Pokemon coming, and their prayers have been answered.

Thanks to the solar eclipse trending all over the world on April 8, Niantic revealed a short video to tease the arrival of Necrozma in Pokemon Go. The teaser isn’t long and only shows Necrozma’s silhouette, but it’s more than enough to get players excited for what’s coming.

The first in-person Pokemon Go Fest 2024 event will take place in Sendai, Japan, between May 30 and June 2. Since Necrozma’s teaser includes the Pokemon Go Fest 2024 logo, it’s safe to assume the Legendary Pokemon will debut during the event, starting with the Japanese ticket holders.

Necrozma was first introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon, and it featured three different forms in their sequels. It’s yet unknown if Pokemon Go players will be able to access Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, or Ultra Necrozma in the mobile game.

Origin Forme Palkia and Dialga brought new game mechanics to Pokemon Go, so trainers also expect Necrozma to bring new gimmicks to the title when it debuts. For now, all of this is speculation, so we’ll make sure to keep you updated with the latest news regarding Necrozma’s debut in Pokemon Go.
