Diablo 4 Season 2 The Beast in the Ice

With a new boss lineup introduced in Diablo 4 Season 2, you will have to collect several new materials to unlock them, and the Distilled Fear is one of them. So here’s everything you need to know about Distilled Fear and how to get it in Diablo 4 Season 2.

Diablo 4 Season 2 has introduced a new set of enemies for players to put their favorite builds to the test. However, to face some of the endgame bosses throughout Sanctuary, you will need to gather certain items before you can summon and defeat them.

Distilled Fear is one of those materials that you’ll need to summon The Beast in the Ice. While farming for this isn’t as hard as trying to get materials for Lord Zir, Grigoire, or Varshan, getting it is a little bit tricky since it has one of the lowest drop rates of Diablo 4.

If you want to know how to get Distilled Fear to summon the Beast in the Ice, here’s what you should do in Diablo 4 Season 2.

Diablo 4: Where to find Distilled Fear?

In Diablo 4 Season of Blood, you’ll need to complete Tier 30 (or above) of Nightmare Dungeons on World Tier 4 to be able to farm for Distilled Fear.

Diablo 4 Distilled Fear location
Distilled Fear will unlock the Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil for Glacial Fissure Dungeon.

Remember that in order to select a higher World Tier in Diablo 4, you can simply go to the main menu and select the “Change World Tier” option or travel to any World Tier Statue and interact with it.

Keep in mind that to play in World Tier 4, you’ll need to have completed the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon in World Tier 3.

How to use Distilled Fear in Diablo 4?

After gathering nine Distilled Fear and 250 Sigil Powder in Diablo 4, you’ll have to go to the Occultist to create a Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil.

After using this Sigil, you’ll be able to activate the Glacial Fissure Nightmare Dungeon. This location is in the southern part of Fractured Peaks, at the eastern border of the Desolate Highlands area.

And that’s everything you need to know about Distilled Fear in Diablo 4. If you want to know more about Blizzard’s iconic ARPG, you can check our guides below:
