Diablo 4 players have reported that there might be an unexpected secret for fans hidden inside the game via post-credits scenes.

Diablo 4 has been out since June 6 and players have had time to complete the main campaign a second time. Those who have done so, have reported a surprising scene that seems to appear only when players watch the credits until the end.

A Diablo 4 fan that goes by AnActualSadTaco has uploaded a video of 11 seconds that shows a confusing post-credits scene. The player explained that this was a surprise that popped up only after completing the main campaign with a second character.

Does Diablo 4 have secret post-credits scenes?

The Diablo 4 post-credits scene had been uploaded to Reddit and YouTube, where AnActualSadTaco also explained that they were trying to find out what had triggered its apparition. “We were thinking that maybe on each new completion, the cutscene could get longer? Unlikely, but a fun idea!” the player added.

Fans have pointed out that the post-credits scene might contain jumpscares.

Meanwhile, WowHead reported that multiple players also discovered this mysterious post-credits scene. The community also claimed to have found a total of four scenes discovered in the game files. The first three show a demon that could be Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred, who played a main role in the story of Diablo 4.

Players think that this post-credit demon might be Mephisto.

But the fourth scene, which is the one that has gone viral, shows a strange creature drenched in blood that stares directly at the players. According to WowHead, this might be Lucion, a demon mentioned in Diablo 4’s Book of Lorath.

There’s still no official explanation for these cutscenes, but Creative Artist from Diablo 4 Jamir Blanco posted a not-so-cryptic message on Twitter: “Sounds like some people are finally starting to realize there’s a post-credit cutscene in our game.”
