Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 arrives on November 10, continuing Task Force 141’s story in the campaign, introducing a brand-new take on the Zombies mode, and bringing back fan-favorite multiplayer maps. But when can you jump in and play? Here’s when MW3 launches in your region.

Modern Warfare 3 is a direct sequel to 2022’s MW2, continuing the overall storyline and overhauling multiplayer with highly requested changes. After players loved experiencing the classic Modern Warfare 2 2009 maps in the open beta, the official launch is nearly upon us following the campaign’s early access period.

If you’ve got the game pre-ordered and are looking to be one of the first players to load up Modern Warfare 3 on November 10, make sure you preload and then check what time the game will be released in your region.

The exact console release times won’t be available but there will be a staggered rolling launch between 3 AM PT and 10 PM PT on November 9, meaning those in New Zealand get access to the game first. Other regions will follow, with everyone having the game by 10 PM PT on November 9, which will be the early hours of November 10 for most regions.

Some may use the ‘New Zealand trick’ to access the game before it goes live in their region, but Infinity Ward warned against it for MW2’s launch, saying players will “experience connectivity issues and may be locked out of the game until the official launch time of your region.”
