Warzone 2 expert reveals fast-firing Sniper Rifle loadout set to “ruin the meta”

Sniper Rifles have been notoriously underpowered in Warzone 2 since launch, but CoD guru IceManIsaac has uncovered a loadout that he thinks could take over the long-range meta.

Warzone 2 gives players dozens of different weapons to choose from, all ideal for the various different situations they may find themselves in. But as is always the case, a handful have risen to the top and become the go-to meta guns in Warzone 2, with the RPK and Fennec 45 being the top dogs so far.

On the other hand, most Sniper Rifles have fallen by the wayside, with many players feeling they aren’t competitive enough at long-range as they can no longer secure one-shot kills consistently.

However, Warzone 2 expert IceManIsaac has shown off a new Signal 50 loadout that could finally see a Sniper Rifle take over Al Mazrah.

Isaac revealed that the build achieves a “crazy fast” ADS speed and bullet velocity, which makes it feel more like a snappy bolt-action rifle like the SP-X 80 while still retaining the power of a Sniper over long range.

It’s also semi-automatic, meaning players can quickly follow up their shots even if they don’t down enemies right away. This is essential in long-range fights, especially when the opposing player has three plates.

Isaac even mentioned that he didn’t originally want to share the loadout, as it could “ruin the meta” in a similar way to the fire Shotguns in the original Warzone. But, he ultimately felt it was too much fun to keep locked away.

Check out IceManIsaac’s Signal 50 loadout in Warzone 2 below.

IceManIsaac’s best Signal 50 loadout in Warzone 2

  • Muzzle: Nilsound 90 Silencer
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity
  • Rear Grip: SA Finesse Grip

The key to this Signal 50 loadout is the Forge Tac Delta 4 Optic and FSS OLE-V Laser, which shaves off much of the Sniper’s ADS time to make it feel faster and more mobile, ideal for snapping onto multiple targets.

Next, he opted for the Nilsound 90 Silencer and .50 Cal High Velocity rounds to significantly boost the bullet velocity, making it much easier to hit shots over large distances and removing the need for a Barrel.

Lastly, Isaac picked the SA Finesse Grip for one final buff to the ADS speed, as well as a significantly faster sprint-to-fire time. With this combination of attachments, the Signal 50 becomes a lightening fast rifle without sacrificing any of its punch.

The YouTuber urged anyone who’s grown tired of the RPK and Fennec meta to give this build a try ahead of Warzone 2 Season 2.
