Sniper Rifles are a massive part of the Warzone 2 experience, as the weapon category is among the strongest on Al Mazrah thanks to their extremely high damage output. With that said, here’s every Sniper Rifle ranked and the best Sniper to use in Warzone 2.
Warzone 2 Season 1 has many options regarding playstyle and weaponry. While buffs and nerfs in the update may have caused a slight shift in the meta, Snipers remain a valuable asset due to their high damage potential in just one shot.
While many feel that Snipers need to be more powerful, with many calling them useless, players continue to use them and enjoy their potential.
With that said, here’s our ranked list for every Sniper Rifle in Warzone 2, so you know exactly which one is for you.
Best Warzone 2 Sniper Rifles ranked list
There are a total of five Sniper Rifles in Warzone 2 and two bolt action Marksman Rifles which we have decided to include in this list. If you’re struggling to figure out which ones are the best, we’ve ranked all of Warzone 2 Season 1’s Sniper Rifles from best to worst:
- Victus XMR
- Signal 50
- SP-X 80
- LA-B 330
- SP-R 208
- SA-B 50
Best Warzone 2 Sniper Rifles
7. SA-B 50
In last place we have the SA-B 50, while the bolt action Marksman Rifle is certainly not an awful choice, its poor range and damage lets it down, really only being effective at much closer ranges, which isn’t great for a huge map like Al Mazrah.
6. SP-R 208
In sixth, we have another bolt action Marksman Rifle which is much more effective at close to medium-range sniping. The SP-R 208‘s damage and range aren’t its best attributes hence its place in the list, however, quickscoping and fast high-damage shots make this weapon deadly in the right hands.
5. LA-B 330
The LA-B 330 is a fairly reliable Sniper in Warzone 2 that is a great balance between long-range and close.
Those comfortable using a Sniper in medium-ranged encounters will definitely enjoy this weapon, especially as it can be built for however you’d like to use it, be it for close-range or long-range sniping.
4. SP-X 80
In fourth, we have the SP-X 80, which is above the LA-B 330 due to its extremely fast handling and mobility. For those quickscope lovers who are looking for a Sniper they can get shots off quickly with, the SP-X 80 is certainly the Sniper for you.
The main downside to this weapon is its range, as you will need to hit a player with a few shots to down them from long-range.
The MCPR-300 is one of Warzone 2’s heavy Snipers, and it can be used right from the start of the game, no matter what level you are.
This makes the MCPR extremely useful, as it allows players to use a long-range Sniper right from the start. While it has great range and damage, its handling, mobility, and fire rate lets it down, needing an SMG to balance out the loadout.
2. Signal 50
The Signal 50 is a great heavy Sniper option in Warzone 2 and edges just above the MCPR due to its great fire rate, which can be the difference between life and death in a shoot-out.
The Signal 50 has great damage and range which can be boosted with the correct attachments, it’s also not bad in terms of handling and mobility.
1. Victus XMR
The Victus XMR has a great balance of handling and damage range. Usually, Snipers with long-range potential in Warzone 2 tend to be on the slower side, but the Victus has great aim down sight speed for a weapon that can take down enemies from crazy ranges.
While currently there is no Sniper in Warzone 2 that can down a fully shielded enemy in one hit, the Victus XMR is perfect for picking off players who have less than three shields or those who are slightly damaged, especially if you’re hitting those headshots.
