Boasting a massive landscape, Al Mazrah in Warzone 2 features various famous Call of Duty POIs and your choice of where to land can make a lot of difference. So here are the best landing spots in Warzone 2 Al Mazrah so you can not only secure a win but also rack up the most kills.

Al Mazrah distinguishes itself as the largest map in Warzone 2, with its unique feature being the number of iconic and classic Call of Duty maps as points of interest.

To fully leverage your Season 6 rewards, such as the TR-76 Geist AR and ISO 9mm SMG, or new operators like Spawn, strategic selection of your landing spots on this vast Warzone 2 map is crucial.

Whether you want to loot enough to win the game or to fight for a high-kill game, we have the best landing spots for you in Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah map.

Best Warzone 2 landing spots in Al Mazrah for wins

Sarrif Bay

Sarrif Bay POI in Warzone 2 Al Mazrah.
Sarrif Bay is relatively out of the way, but there’s plenty of high-tier loot to find.

When considering the best Warzone 2 landing spots to ensure you’re going to win, you want somewhere with plenty of loot that doesn’t have too many enemies, and Sarrif Bay is a great choice.

You can loot many buildings in Sarrif Bay and rotate easily to other points of interest like Ahkdar Village and Sa’id City. It’s also not too far from the center of the map, so you won’t have to worry about the circle closing in on you.

Marshlands

Marshlands POI in Warzone 2 Al Mazrah
If you’re looking for a peaceful start to the game, Marshlands is the landing spot for you.

Al Mazrah’s Marshlands is one of the quieter drops in Warzone 2, where you’ll be able to take your time and loot up as much cash and equipment as you need.

Marshlands doesn’t have as much going on as other POIs but because it’s relatively central and doesn’t have too many enemies dropping, you can take your time and get everything you need for the match ahead without rushing to reach the first circle.

Zarqwa Hydroelectric

Hydroelectric POI in Warzone 2 Al Mazrah
Zarqwa Hydroelectric is also a 6v6 map in Modern Warfare 2.

The Zarqwa Hydroelectric is a massive Warzone 2 POI where several teams can loot up without needing to fight, and it’s slap-bang in the middle of the map, so in theory, you could lock down the area for the majority of the game.

It is also one of the busiest spots on the map currently, so if you manage to stay alive after you drop here, you’ll be controlling a dominant POI. Also, it’s a good area for hidden caches for quick cash in Warzone 2.

Observatory

Warzone 2 Al Mazrah Observatory POI
Zaya Observatory is one of Warzone 2’s hottest landing spots.

Despite some changes due to the events of MW3’s reveal, Observatory is still the most popular POI for players to drop in when entering the warzone. This location is the highest point on Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah, which means that it gives a fantastic vantage point over the entirety of the area.

You’ll find that a ton of Warzone 2 players are landing at the Observatory to check out Modern Warfare 3’s Dome map and gain control over the area. So, if you land at Observatory and win those initial fights, you’ll have several kills to your name, plenty of cash and loot, and the height advantage to glide almost anywhere else.

Airport

Why not start your Warzone 2 match with a throwback to 2009?

Not only does Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah airport contain the fan-favorite Terminal map, but it’s also an excellent place to land for high-kill games.

Airport is an extremely busy area because of 2009’s MW2 Terminal being located inside, but that’s not actually what makes it such a great spot for high-kill games in Warzone 2. There are two helicopter spawns out on the runway, so once you’ve won those initial fights and looted up, you can fly anywhere else on the map to find more fights and keep the momentum going.

Al Mazrah City

Al Mazrah City is the densest location on the whole map.

Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah City, particularly the High Rise building, is a great place to get into a fight straightaway, and there’s also a helicopter spawn you can use to carry on taking fights.

Like almost all of the classic CoD POIs in Al Mazrah, the High Rise building will be extremely busy, but even if it’s not, you can grab the helicopter and fly to somewhere that has more players to rack up a ton of kills.
