You’ll need a ton of XP in The Finals to level up your Season 1 Battle Pass all the way through. You can get an additional boost through daily and weekly Contracts and one of these weekly challenges requires you to be invisible, so here’s how to stay hidden for 300 seconds in The Finals.

The Finals Season 1 is in full swing with a brand-new Battle Pass and a Ranked Tournament mode for you to enjoy. While the Ranked Tournament is all about proving your prowess against equally skilled players, the Battle Pass is similar to the ones we see in other F2P multiplayer titles like Overwatch 2, Fortnite, and Valorant.

Leveling up in The Finals revolves around playing the game and completing a set of challenges updated daily and weekly. From dealing damage through arena carriables to eliminating enemies in rather unusual ways, these challenges are quite diverse and some might compel you to rack your brains.

On that note, here’s how to complete the Covert Operator challenge in The Finals which requires you to stay hidden for 300 seconds.

How to stay hidden for 300 seconds in The Finals

You can stay hidden for 300 seconds in The Finals by selecting the Light build and adding the Cloaking Device Specialization to your loadout. Use the Cloaking Device to turn invisible when you’re not surrounded by a lot of opponents and ask your teammates to cover for you.

It is worth noting that you can complete the Covert Operator challenge in The Finals only by being invisible for 300 seconds continuously and without being detected. As a result, crowded areas like Cashout points might not be ideal for completing the challenge.

Tips to remain hidden in The Finals

Staying hidden in a fast-paced title like The Finals can be challenging, and here are some tips to help you make the most of invisibility:

  • While using the Cloaking Device, nearby enemies can see you to some extent if you’re moving around and you’re invisible only when completely still. Also, Cloaking Device has a recharge time, so make sure you’re not around enemies while decloaking as it gives an audio cue.
  • Maintain distance from items that deal AoE damage like gas mines, flammable cylinders, and explosive cylinders. You’ll be detected as soon as any of these items can deal damage.
