Here’s our best The Finals build, which includes the Contestant type, weapon, Gadgets, and Specialization to use so that you can collect as much cash as possible and support your teammates on the road to victory.

A lot is going on with The Finals, as the free-to-play FPS has many mechanics that players need to master in order to become well-rounded.

One of the first things you will notice in The Finals is the different Contestant builds: Light, Medium, and Heavy. Each of these offers unique weapons, Gadgets, and Specializations, which are all elements of the game that will help you dominate.

Choosing between these can be difficult, but luckily, we’ve put together what we believe is the best build to use in the game to cover all aspects of the fast-paced shooter.

Best loadout in The Finals: Build, weapon, Gadgets & Specialization

The Finals offers many possibilities for builds, but here’s the best one you can use:

  • Contestant Build: Medium
  • Weapon: AKM
  • Gadgets: Jump Pad, Defibrillator, and Pyro Grenade
  • Specialization: Healing Beam

This build aims to provide an all-around loadout for all aspects of the game. For those interested in the details of this build, check out our explanations below.

Best Contestant build to use in The Finals

We recommend the Medium build as the best build to use in The Finals, as it has the most potential for covering all grounds and playstyles.

The Medium build is great for playing either aggressively or defensively, and you’ll often find yourself flipping between the two playstyles, as you either aim to protect the Cashout and support your teammates or steal Cashouts and chase down enemies for a team wipe.

Best weapon to use in The Finals

There are many great weapon options in The Finals, but as we have chosen the Medium build as our best, we recommend using the AKM. This Assault Rifle is a solid option with decent damage, range, and fire rate. One of the best things about this weapon is its magazine size, which is more than enough to get the job done.

The major downside is the recoil, but once you get used to it and can control it, you’ll be beaming enemies in no time.

Best Gadgets to use in The Finals

  • Jump Pad
  • Defibrillator
  • Pyro Grenade

As for the best Equipment to use in The Finals, we have recommended the Jump Pad for team mobility, the Defibrillator for reviving teammates quickly, and the Pyro Grenade for AoE damage.

This set of Gadgets provides all-around help, as you’ll be covered for mobility, support, and damage output.

Best Specialization to use

As we’ve chosen the Medium build as the best Contestant, you’ll have the pick between the Healing Beam, Guardian Turret, and Dematerializer, with the latter being introduced in Season 2. We believe the Healing Beam is the best to use, as it gives the build an element of team support, which is so important in this team-based FPS game.

It also compliments the Defibrillator nicely, as once you revive a teammate, they’ll often need to be healed, so whip out the Healing Beam to get them back to full health.

That said, this is a team game, so you’ll want to tweak your build in accordance with the rest of your team. For example, if someone else is running the Healing Beam, you could opt for the Guardian Turret to give your defense a boost.

Well, there you have it, that was our best build in The Finals. For more on the game, check out:
