The Finals is the ambitious new FPS from Embark Studios, and it’s been generating plenty of buzz since the beta went live. With players now getting their hands on the game for the first time, many will be wondering if The Finals supports crossplay.
The competitive FPS genre is a tough one to track, but The Finals is doing everything in its power to make a name for itself. Using a distinct art style and destructible maps, the first major project from Embark Studios looks to combine the best of Battlefield and Team Fortress.
After years in development, The Finals closed beta is now live and it’s made a strong first impression, with big-name streamers like Dr Disrespect welcoming its fresh gameplay.

Does The Finals have crossplay?

There is no currently no confirmation on whether or not The Finals is crossplay, as the closed beta is currently only available for PC players.
Developer Embark Studios have confirmed that The Finals will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles when the game gets a full release, but they haven’t explained if players can share lobbies cross-platform.

We’ll likely have to wait until a final release date or a console beta is announced to get a full picture of how The Finals will handle crossplay support.
Crossplay has become the norm for free-to-play titles in recent years, with the likes of Warzone, Apex Legends, and Overwatch 2 all seeing great success by allowing friends on different platforms to team up.
With this in mind, there’s a good chance that The Finals will follow the trend and include crossplay support between PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players.
