What is Party Play in Pokemon Go?

Party Play is a Pokemon Go feature that allows multiple players to play and complete challenges together in one shared in-game experience.

This feature allows four players, level 15 and above, to adventure as a party together where they can even get to see their friends’ avatars on the in-game map.

How to host Party Play in Pokemon Go

Hosting a Party Play lets you invite your friends to your Pokemon Go gameplay. Here’s how you can host a Party Play:

1. Open Pokemon Go and navigate to your profile.
2. Tap the new Party tab.
3. Tap Create.
4. You’ll be given a numerical code or QR code that you can share with up to three nearby players.
5. Tap Start and you’re all set.

If you want to join a friend’s Party Play in Pokemon Go, here’s how to do it:

1. Open Pokemon Go and navigate to your profile.
2. Tap the new Party tab.
3. Tap Join Party. You will be prompted to either scan the host’s QR code or manually enter a numerical code.

Party Challenges are tasks that you and your party can complete in Pokemon Go. These tasks usually include spinning PokeStops, battling in Raids, catching Pokemon, and more to get various in-game rewards.

Party Power is a special damage bonus for you and your party during Raid Battles in Pokemon Go. It doubles the damage of your next Charged Move and charges with every Fast Move.
