How to evolve Meltan into Melmetal

You can evolve Meltan into Melmetal by feeding it 400 Candy.

Meltan is not normally available in the wild, but you can unlock its spawns for 60 minutes around your location by using the Mystery Box, an Incense-like item that can be obtained by connecting with Pokemon Home.

Here’s how to connect Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home:

1. Create a Nintendo account.
2. Open Pokemon Go and tap the Poke Ball icon at the bottom of the screen.
3. Go to ‘Settings’ on the top right corner of the screen.
4. Scroll down and click on ‘Connected Devices and Services’.
5. Tap ‘Pokemon Home’.
6. Sign in with the same Nintendo Account you used to set up Home.
7. Access the Go Transporter in the Home menu of Pokemon Go.
8. Send any species from your collection to Home.
9. Open Pokemon Home and accept the transfer(s).
10. You will now have a Mystery Box in your Pokemon Go storage ready to be opened.
