Beldum in Pokemon Go

Beldum is a Steel/Psychic-type Pokemon that evolves into a powerful Pseudo Legendary, a rare Pokemon with incredible stats that’s ideal for PvP and PvE activities in Pokemon Go.

So, here’s everything you need to know to get Beldum, Metang, and Metagross in Pokemon Go, and if their shinies are available.

How to catch Beldum in Pokemon Go

You can get Beldum by catching it in the wild. You’ll get plenty of chances during the Beldum Community Day Classic event that’s taking place on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM (local time).

Though Beldum is a rare spawn any other day, you have a greater chance of encountering it during windy and snowy weather in Pokemon Go.

Can Beldum be shiny?

Yes, shiny Beldum is available in Pokemon Go. You can get the shiny versions of Metang and Metagross by evolving a shiny Beldum.

The odds of encountering a shiny Beldum are roughly 1/512 but will be approximately 1/25 during its Community Day Classic.

How to evolve Beldum into Metagross in Pokemon Go

Beldum evolves into Metang with 25 Candy and then Metang evolves into Metagross with 100 Candy.

We recommend using Pinap or Silver Pinap Berries to get bonus Candies each time you catch Beldum and evolve it to Metagross quickly. You can also set Beldum, Metang, or Metagross as your Buddy to get more Candy while exploring. You need to walk 5km to get one Candy.

If you evolve Metang during the Beldum Community Day Classic or up to two hours after the event, you’ll get a Metagross that knows the Steel-type Charged Attack Meteor Mash. This is one of the best overall moves for Steel-type Pokemon, so keep that in mind.

If you get a Metagross with perfect IVs, max it out to dominate PvP and PvE in Pokemon Go.
