Microsoft confirm Diablo 4 coming soon to Xbox Game Pass library

There were plenty of announcements from the Xbox Podcast on February 15, and Microsoft also took the time to reveal that Diablo 4 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass for players to enjoy.

Diablo 4 was one of the biggest games released in 2023, and its accessibility on multiple platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC contributed to its early success. However, the Diablo 4 player count has started to dip in 2024 following numerous player complaints concerning the quality of updates.

All that could change drastically after Microsoft confirmed that Diablo 4’s long-awaited arrival on Xbox Game Pass is right around the corner. Once Diablo 4 arrives on Xbox Game Pass, it’s possible that player counts could soar once more, with the new accessibility bringing more players to the game

Diablo 4 arrives on Xbox Game Pass & PC soon

Subscribers won’t have to wait long as Diablo 4 is coming to Xbox Game Pass console and PC on March 28, 2024.

Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard was the catalyst that opened the door for this possibility to occur. The deal closed in October of 2023, and players have been eager to find out more about when popular franchises like Diablo and Call of Duty would hit Xbox Game Pass.

The announcement was made on the official Xbox Podcast that was released on February 15, 2024. The same update on new business ventures at Microsoft also revealed that exclusive Xbox titles including Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush will be making their way to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

It seems Microsoft are dedicated to expanding the Xbox Game Pass library as well as bringing more of their exclusive titles to other consoles.
