Diablo 4 players have found another bug in the myriad of glitches that Season of the Malignant has brought to the game. This time, a Season Blessing has been found to cause the exact opposite effect of its in-game description in Diablo 4 Season 1.

Diablo 4 Season 1 hasn’t been able to catch a break since the update went live. Now, a Twitch streamer detected a bugged item that breaks a vital endgame item in Sanctuary’s world. This object is one of the Season Blessings available in Season of the Malignant that is meant to help players in Diablo 4’s endgame.

Seasonal Blessings are small bonuses that are used to enhance various aspects of the gameplay in Diablo 4, such as increased gold farming, elixir duration, and increased experience points. These are obtained with a currency called Smoldering Ashes, which comes from Diablo 4’s Batte Pass free track.

Getting a Seasonal Blessing requires a significant amount of grinding since unlocking each of Diablo 4’s Battle Pass tiers requires being at a specific level. When investing in Smoldering Ashes, players make sure to get an item worth their effort in-game.

Diablo 4’s Urn of Bargaining bug

One of the Season Blessings of Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant is called the Urn of Bargaining, which should grant players more gold each time they sell an item to a vendor. However, Twitch streamer DatModz discovered that this also increases the enchanting cost of Legendary items.

This effect isn’t in the Urn of Bargaining description, and players began to wonder what else did this item affect when equipped. According to Reddit users, even if this bug doesn’t affect Rare Items, they do make repairing items much more expensive.

Seasonal Blessings are usually key for players that are wandering the Diablo 4 endgame, where farming gold becomes much more difficult. Fans aren’t hopeful that Blizzard fix this issue in Patch 1.1.1, since the Urn of Bargaining bug has just been discovered and was never mentioned by the team.

How to fix Diablo 4 Seasonal Blessing bug

In order to fix the Diablo 4 Season 1 Season Blessing bug with the Urn of Bargaining, you’ll need to take points away from the Seasonal Blessing before heading to another vendor.

You can also wait for Diablo 4 patch 1.1.1 which will address some of the concerning issues that Season of the Malignant has raised. If that’s not the case, this Seasonal Blessing could be removed after Season 1 finishes on October 9, 2023.
