Diablo 4 players are not satisfied with the way the game handles various builds as they feel that it ‘discourages’ you from trying out new and different builds during your journey through Sanctuary.

Diablo 4 Season 2 has brought a lot of changes and additions to the game, including the new Vampiric Powers and Uber bosses that the players are enjoying. However, alongside all the new features in this season, players are still dissatisfied due to the absence of certain QoL factors.

Experimenting with builds and trying out various new combinations are some of the key aspects of D4. However, some players feel that the devs limit their freedom and “discourage” them from trying out varying builds.

Reddit user ‘d4bn3y’ posted about the absence of certain QoL mechanics as they said that ‘the current system discourages you from trying new builds.’ They continued by pointing out several features that are missing or need improvements like the Paragon and Occultist menus, the absence of gear, and no way to save builds.

Players have constantly asked the devs for a feature that enabled them to save builds since the release of the game. Some players have also complained that “Glyph XP is time-consuming” which makes surfing between builds difficult in Diablo 4.

Having a menu for saved builds is bound to save a lot of time as you will be able to seamlessly switch between your builds depending on the type of encounter you are up for. Plus, having an abundance of impressive gear, and better Paragon and Occultist menus for easy XP and Aspect allotment will enhance the entire character-building process massively in Diablo 4.

Some players also drew comparisons with older games like Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, as such opportunities were extremely limited in the former and contrastingly easy in the latter. Others argued that the devs “didn’t want you to be able to switch builds after level 50” based on the limitations put in.

It seems like many fans are dissatisfied with these missing features and want a fix as soon as possible. However, it is important to note that Blizzard is working on fixing the inventory issues as mentioned in their previous Campfire Chats.
