Blizzard are being questioned by Diablo 4 players yet again as they are demanding a highly requested feature in the game in Season 3, even months after launch.

Diablo 4 players have been quite active in the community since Season 3 began to run its course on January 23. Even after a boatload of complaints flowing through the D4 community after Season 3’s launch, the devs have somehow laid the case to rest with a couple of emergency patches.

However, players are not entirely happy, even though the immediate issues like unwanted trap rooms and Seneschal Companions have been fixed. Diablo 4 players have been asking for matchmaking for multiplayer since the game’s launch, and now they have started the discussion once again.

Reddit user ‘AshenxboxOne’ initiated this discussion as they were quite furious about the lack of matchmaking in Diablo 4 and demanded the devs to “add it now” in the ARPG. They further continued: “It’s absolutely INSANE that we’re in 2024 and their flagship AAA always online game has none whatsoever but their mobile and decades older games do.”

The OP was quite unhappy with how the devs have handled the issue as they asked them to “stop promising every Campfire Chat it’s being looked into” and wanted Blizzard to “just patch it in.” Others agreed with the OP as well as they found it to be the “most needed feature” in the game.

With the conclusion of Uber bosses like Malphas and Duriel that require a large amount of farming before tackling them, more and more players have resorted to multiplayer gameplay in Diablo 4, and that is why players have been asking for matchmaking for seamless combat.

“It’s been a point of discussion since beta and why the hell doesn’t it exist,” asked a player, as others claimed that the game has “zero matchmaking system” in it. User ‘Imnotsmallimfunsized’ found it “baffling” how the devs had still not fixed the problem in D4.

With the problem being pitched to Blizzard since the launch of Diablo 4, more and more players have gathered with similar issues. However, with the devs being quite attentive to audience feedback, you might expect a patch in the upcoming seasons to address this issue.
