Diablo 4 players can’t believe missing D3 feature is still not in the game

While Diablo 4 supports multiple builds for each class, it does not have a loadout system. Players believe introducing a loadout system could make build switching much more convenient, as it did in past Diablo titles.

In Diablo 4, you will often find yourself switching skills when optimizing your builds. While respecing your skills is fairly cheap during the early stages of the game, as you progress to the midgame or endgame segments, the entire process gets more expensive.

Diablo 4 also has specific PvP areas on the map, and you can make PvP-oriented builds as well. However, players feel that having a loadout system would make this process much easier.

As mentioned on Reddit by ‘Adam_D12,’ loadouts would make switching between items, skills, and Paragon Boards more straightforward in Diablo 4.

In response to the above post, a player commented, “Diablo 3 has it, rifts, and leaderboards and matchmaking. I don’t understand why Diablo 4 didn’t have all these done better and more.”

Others said that they agreed with what the OP had to say, and mentioned that loadouts in were one of the main features they missed from the previous game in the franchise.

‘Braelind’ found it strange that the developers made so few improvements in from last entires in the series. They said, “Diablo 2 was released 24 years ago, and still felt more complete at release than this game does. I don’t know how they’ve managed to make so little improvement to the franchise in 2.5 decades.”

Another Redditor pointed out that the developers had addressed the loadout issue in one of the earlier Diablo 4 campfire chats from last year. They said, “They briefly talked about loadouts in the July 21st campfire live stream. They said it was something they’re excited about, are talking about it, but don’t know when it will be in the game.”

With the loadout requests in Diablo 4 currently at an all-time high, it will be interesting to see when the developers plan on introducing this feature to the game.
