Diablo 4 Season of Blood vampire

Living Steel chests are some of the most wanted items during Helltides in Diablo 4 Season 2. As players are desperately farming these chests to summon a new boss, here are all the Living Steel chest locations in Diablo 4 Season of Blood.

Diablo 4 Season 2 flooded Sanctuary with a vampire invasion and the devs have introduced new bosses and activities for you to indulge in. One of those new endgame bosses is Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, which can only be called by obtaining Living Steel.

However, Living Steel is quite rare, and you’ll need to look out for them carefully during Helltides. Here’s everything you need to know about Living Steel and where you can find the Tortured Gifts of Living Steel in Diablo 4 Season of Blood.

What is a Tortured Gift of Living Steel?

In Diablo 4 Season of Blood, a Tortured Gift of Living Steel is a chest that will drop a new material called Living Steel. You’ll need them to summon Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, an Uber boss introduced this season.

These special chests are similar to normal Tortured Gifts, but you’ll need to collect more Aberrant Cinders to open them.

How to open a Tortured Gift of Living Steel

To open a Tortured Gift of Living Steel in Diablo 4 Season 2, you’ll need to collect 300 Aberrant Cinders. You’ll be able to do so by slaying demons and any other enemy you come across during the Helltide events.

You will have to defeat the Elite Guard in front of the Living Steel chest after collecting the Cinders. Only then you will finally be able to open the chest and collect the rewards. With the Diablo 4 hotfix released on November 13, the Living Steel drop rate has significantly improved too.

Keep in mind that you’ll only find Aberrant Cinders while in World Tier Nightmare or higher, so if you die, you’ll lose every Aberrant Cinder you’ve collected.

Where to find Tortured Gift of Living Steel chests

You’ll usually find Tortured Gift of Living Steel chests in Diablo 4 while a Helltide event is active. Like any other Helltide chest, only two or three will randomly spawn around the area affected by the horde of enemies.

The location of the Tortured Gift of Living Steel chests will only appear on your map once you’re close to it. These chests respawn when the hour changes and you can get a new one during the same Helltide. However, the locations get randomized with each new real-world hour.

According to the Icy-Veins fan site, almost 64 Tortured Gift of Living Steel chest locations have been found. Here are all their locations in Diablo 4:
