Modern Warfare 3 is set to bring the largest Call of Duty Zombies experience to date, boasting a ton of features players can utilize during their matches. So if you’re wondering what the Acquisitions and Schematics are in MW3 Zombies, here’s everything you need to know about them.

The imminent launch of Modern Warfare 3 has players hyped up and waiting for all the content that has been announced. Among them, SHG confirmed the return of fan-favorite movement mechanics, a full arsenal of weapons and camos, and the first-ever Modern Warfare Zombies mode.

In addition, the MW3 Zombies experience, developed by Treyarch together with SHG, will allow players to enjoy Warzone’s map Urzikstan. Still, unlike the free-to-play title where players engage with other human enemies, in MWZ they’ll have to fight huge hordes of zombies too.

To survive as long as possible in the game with your team, it is essential to have the best Equipment, weapons, and Perks to make confronting zombies less challenging. So, here’s how the Acquisitions and Schematics can help you out in MWZ.

What are Acquisitions in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies?

When playing Zombies in Modern Warfare 3, you can obtain single-use items called Acquisitions that will give you a gameplay advantage within the mode. You can locate these items scattered on the map while playing a match, and by successfully extracting them into your Rucksack, they will be included in your Acquisition Stash, which is accessible through the Rucksack Menu.

MWZ Acquisitions are split into two sections: Raw and Refined Aetherium Crystals and Uncommon, Rare, and Epic Aether Tools. The first will allow you to “upgrade your Pack-a-Punch weapon to Levels I and II,” while the former will upgrade the weapon you’re using to a “rare form.” According to the blog, the rarer the form, the better the damage the weapon will do.

Here’s a list of every Acquisition available at the game’s launch:

  • Rare Aetherium Crystal
  • Epic Aetherium Crystal
  • Legendary Aetherium Crystal
  • Uncommon Aether Tool
  • Rare Aether Tool
  • Epic Aether Tool
  • Legendary Aether Tool

If you’re wondering how all these Acquisitions look in-game, here’s a glimpse at every item:

What are Schematics in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies?

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Schematics are “highly sought-after plans” that will let players permanently craft Acquisitions. Similar to other powerful items, these coveted plans will have a cooldown period before entering Urzikstan’s Exclusion Zone.

With all that, you’re now fully prepared to drop into Modern Warfare Zombies and destroy the living dead. Be sure to search and exfil Acquisitions to utilize them along with Schematics to improve your Equipment.
