Call of Duty returns in November 2023 with Modern Warfare 3, building on 2022’s MW2 by featuring all 16 classic Modern Warfare 2 2009 maps, introducing Zombies mode, and bringing highly requested changes such as the return of the classic minimap.

Modern Warfare 3 editions & price
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has three editions across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC:
- Modern Warfare 3 Standard Edition (PC only) – $69.99 / £59.99
- Modern Warfare 3 Cross-Gen Edition (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) – $69.99 / £69.99
- Modern Warfare 3 Vault Edition (All) – $99.99 / £99.99
Modern Warfare 3 pre-order bonus content
Modern Warfare 3 campaign early access
CoD players will receive early access to the Modern Warfare 3 campaign by pre-ordering any edition of the game.
Campaign early access kicked off on November 2, allowing players who have pre-ordered to experience the full story before multiplayer and Zombies arrive on November 10.
Soap Operator pack for MW2, Warzone & MW3
Those who pre-order any edition of Modern Warfare 3 will receive the Soap Operator pack for MW2 and Warzone, which will also be available in MW3 at launch through the Carry Forward feature.
Zombie Ghost Operator skin for MW2, Warzone & MW3
Call of Duty also revealed a Zombie Ghost Operator skin pre-order benefit available to players who digitally pre-order any edition of MW3.
The skin will become accessible in MW2 and Warzone on September 27 for players who pre-order MW3 before Season 6 begins, while those who pre-order after Season 6’s launch will have immediate access to it.
Lockpick Operator Pack for MW3 & Warzone
There’s also an exclusive PlayStation Operator Pack up for grabs if you pre-order Modern Warfare 3 digitally through the PS Store. Doing so will earn you the MW3 Lockpick Operator pack for completely free as soon as the game launches on November 10.
The Lockpick Operator will also be usable in Warzone once MW3 launches, allowing you to flex this PS-exclusive Operator in battle royale as well as Multiplayer.
Captain Price CoD Mobile skin
Call of Duty: Mobile players who pre-order Modern Warfare 3 will receive the Captain Price “Skirmisher” Skin for free.
Once Modern Warfare 3 arrives, simply log in before November 15, and as long as you’re using the same Activision account in both games, you’ll receive the Captain Price skin.
Modern Warfare 3 Vault Edition content
ActivisionModern Warfare 3’s Vault Edition, the more expensive version, has returned, featuring bonus items such as skins for Price, Ghost, Makarov, and a new character, Warden, as well as the BlackCell Battle Pass which will offer players 50 Tier Skips.

- Nemesis Operator Pack: 4 Operator Skins (Price, Ghost, Warden, and Makarov)
