Warzone 2’s DMZ has been a great success, but players are starting to wonder if Solos, Duos, or Quads playlists will make their way to the game.

On November 16, Warzone 2 launched with a unique extraction-based mode called DMZ. This DMZ mode was an entirely new concept for most CoD fans, yet it’s been a success as a standalone experience alongside Warzone 2.

Players have been frustrated with the number of bugs and missing features in Warzone 2, but the devs have certainly delivered when it comes to gameplay variety. DMZ proved that they weren’t afraid to try new things, and Season 1 Reloaded’s Warzone Cup LTM is further proof of this.

As players continue to enjoy DMZ and look to extract some valuable weapons, many have been calling for more playlist options. Since launch, Warzone 2’s DMZ has been restricted to three-player squads with the only active playlist being Trios.

With so many players calling for new playlist options, the devs have confirmed whether DMZ will receive new squad sizes.

Will Warzone 2 DMZ have Solos, Duos or Quads playlist?

Warzone 2 DMZ will not have a Solos, Duos, or Quads playlist and the devs confirmed that this will remain the case following the Season 1 Reloaded update.

In a pre-Season 1 Reloaded briefing with CharlieIntel, the devs confirmed that Trios will remain the only point of entry for Warzone 2’s DMZ.

While players won’t receive more playlist options, the devs delivered quality-of-life updates that primarily aimed to improve looting functionality.

With the Season 1 Reloaded update bringing the new Building 21 area to discover in DMZ, players will have to stick to their standard squad of three players. Trios looking for high-tier Contraband will face a tough challenge, but the reward will be worth it.
