Warzone 2 Season 2 brought a new Resurgence map for players to check out but the community is furious after the Resurgence Solos squad size was removed from the game.

The Season 2 update gave Warzone 2 a major content drop that players were excited to check out, and one of the most notable additions has been the brand-new Ashika Island Resurgence map.

However, players have been frustrated with the fact that all squad sizes aren’t available at the same time in Warzone 2’s Resurgence, and this has only intensified with the removal of Resurgence Solos.

On February 8, the devs claimed that Warzone 2‘s Resurgence would feature “all squad sizes” at Season 2’s launch. When players discovered that they could only select Quads, the developers posted a correction.

They confirmed that each of the four squad sizes will be in the playlist rotation throughout Season 2, and Warzone 2’s weekend playlist allowed players to enjoy Resurgence Solos along with Quads on February 24.

After the weekend came to an end, players noticed that Resurgence Solos was missing from Warzone 2, and they could only hop into Quads. This infuriated the Warzone 2 community as many were disappointed that they were being limited to specific squad sizes.

Reddit user ‘ATurtleMelon’ posted in the Warzone 2 subreddit: “Resurgence Solos gone already?” Many players in this thread vented their frustration with the removal of Resurgence Solos from the playlist.

One user commented: “Do they know how hard it is to get four friends online at the same time? I hate playing with randoms. At least solos allowed me to play the new map and have fun.”

Another player complained that 80% of Quads they play consist of only two or three players, making the match “almost impossible to play.” This is not a problem when you’re playing Resurgence Solos.

One commenter called for the devs to provide a “full playlist for Resurgence like regular BR mode” so that each squad size is available all the time. They then added that this would push more players to check out Resurgence.

As one user pointed out, the developers confirmed that Solos would only be available alongside Quads for that specific weekend. Solos will be back at some point since they’re rotating the playlists.
