Warzone 2 players desperate for return of classic playlist option

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has plenty of variation in its playlist options to keep players entertained, but fans are unhappy over the continued absence of a key mode.

The future for Warzone 2 is already looking quite bright with Season 1 Reloaded set to add new content and the new, rumored Resurgence map leak has got players excited.

With the most popular Warzone 2 weapons now revealed, players will now be sinking their teeth into the game’s meta weapons in the bid for Warzone victories.

However, amongst all the good vibes with Warzone 2 right now, the player base is unhappy that a fan-favorite playlist option is being overlooked.

Currently, players can get stuck into Solos, Duos, Quads, the new Unhinged game mode, and a third-person playlist option.

It seems that this is not enough though as the lack of a dedicated Trios selection is frustrating players and one Warzone Reddit post thinks that not having normal Trios “isn’t desirable.”

“When my second friend hops on, I want to feel glad. Instead, I sigh because I know we now have to play this Third Person stuff which we are all not a fan of. Going Quads with the 3 of us isn’t desirable and a random squad fill just flies off at the beginning of the game without a mic, goes straight to the Gulag and leaves. Nobody is waiting for Unhinged either,” said one passionate CoD fan.

The sentiment was agreed with by many commenters with one player saying: “They should always have regular Solo, Duo, Trio, and Quads available.”

It’s likely that the devs want to push the new Unhinged and third-person game modes for the time being, but it’s expected that the playlist options will be switched around like in Warzone 2 and Warzone Caldera.

The return of Resurgence will likely spark some excitement, and there’s always the possibility that the Iron Trials will return too.
