Gifts have been a part of Pokemon Go for nearly six years now, and players are eager for some much-needed updates to the currently tedious system.

Gifts are a great way to gain tons of XP and receive useful items in Pokemon Go, helping players level up quicker, take on Raids with Pokemon of higher levels, and dominate PvP and PvE battles.

To do this, trainers can exchange Gifts with their in-game friends regularly to make progress in the mobile game. But, it looks like fans are tired of the current system, as a Reddit user named ‘Hiddensideofsage’ posted: “I really don’t understand why Pokemon Go can’t just have an accept/send all gifts.”

The OP called gifting friends a “hassle” and with the ‘heal all’ and ‘revive all’ features already up and running in the game, a similar QoL update for Gifts would be a step in the right direction.

Fellow trainers love the OP’s idea, as one mentioned, “Yes yes yes!!! It’s so irritating and takes soooo long” while another agreed that it would be a great option for a lot of people.

More users joined the bandwagon as they look forward to such an update. “I do my gifts once every few days cause it’s just a chore and I can’t be bothered, I would love an update to the system to make it easier,” a fan wrote.

You should know that you can have up to 400 friends in Pokemon Go and send Gifts to only 20 trainers a day. So, when a person asked how sending them to all friends would work, a few chipped in that players can use tags to decide whom to send.

To this, others stated that rather than an ‘open all,’ they’d like a multi-select feature with transfers and tags, making it easier to use postcards and pin Gifts for unique Pokemon catches like Vivillon.
