How to add other Trainers as Friends in Pokemon Go

Now that you have many Trainer Codes, it’s time to add them as Friends in Pokemon Go. You just need to follow these steps:

1. Open the Pokemon Go app.
2. Tap your Avatar in the bottom left corner.
3. Tap the ‘Friends‘ tab at the top of the screen.
4. Tap the ‘Add Friend‘ button.
5. Enter the Friend Code you want to add in the box.
6. Tap ‘Yes’ when the game asks you if you wanna send a Friend Request.

Once you do all that, you’ll need to wait until the other Trainer accepts your request. Pokemon Go will notify you once you have a new Friend on your list.

If you get an error when trying to add a new friend, you can try again to see if the problem persists. Sometimes, it means that Trainer has a full Friend List and can’t add any more players, but it could also mean that Friend Code is no longer active.

How to check your own Trainer Code in Pokemon Go

If you want to share your own Trainer Code to add Friends in Pokemon Go, you have to follow similar steps:

1. Open the Pokemon Go app.
2. Tap your Avatar in the bottom left corner.
3. Tap the ‘Friends‘ tab at the top of the screen.
4. Tap the ‘Add Friend‘ button.
5. You’ll see your Trainer Code right there.

You can either copy your Trainer Code to your phone’s clipboard or tap on ‘Share my Trainer Code’ to send it through another app, like WhatsApp or Twitter.

How to change your Trainer Code in Pokemon Go

Players can also change their Trainer Code any time they want in Pokemon Go. If you want to do that, you’ll just need to follow these steps:

1. Open the Pokemon Go app.
2. Tap your Avatar in the bottom left corner.
3. Tap the ‘Friends‘ tab at the top of the screen.
4. Tap the ‘Add Friend‘ button.
5. Tap the refresh/update icon right next to ‘Copy my Trainer Code’.
6. Tap the ‘Change my code’ button.

After this, you’ll no longer be able to receive Friend Requests with your previous Trainer Code. It’s also important to note that changing your Trainer Code won’t affect your current Friend List.
