How to make it night in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Can you change time of day?

The Day and Night cycle in Pokemon games has become essential to the experience. Since certain Pokemon can only be found or evolved during a specific time of day, many players are wondering how to make it night in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced players to numerous new mechanics, but also kept many elements that are already part of the franchise’s DNA. The Day and Night cycle is a big part of the experience for many reasons and it still has a big role to play in Gen 9.
