What is Pokemon Home?
Pokemon Home is an app that allows players to transfer Pokemon between compatible games.
The Pokemon Company created Pokemon Home so Pokemon can follow trainers from game to game. This gives players additional incentive to train up and nurture Pokemon as they can stick with them from one game to the next.
As previously mentioned, the app is available on either mobile devices or the Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Home is great for keeping all of your Pokemon in one place. You can keep track of them and decide which ones to transfer over with ease.
Pokemon Home also comes with other great features, like the ability to trade with other trainers and view your Pokemon’s battle data.

Players will be able to transfer Pokemon found in Scarlet and Violet as well as bring Pokemon from previous generations and other games to the latest entry in the franchise.
Those who transfer Scarlet and Violet Pokemon when Home it’s available will get a special Fuecoco, Quaxley, and Sprigatito with Hidden Abilities. Trainers can claim one per Pokemon Home account and won’t be able to transfer these Pokemon to previous games, since they don’t exist in earlier generations.
It was confirmed that the Tera Type of Pokemon moved to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet “will be determined by their original type or types.”
Additionally, the Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon Home will add the Move Relearner feature. This will allow trainers to bring back moves their Pokemon learned in previous games. This will only be possible with moves that can be learned in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Last but not least, fans will finally be able to get Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by transferring it from Pokemon Go.
