Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can stumble upon an Auction with NPCs during their Paldean adventures. Items change each day, but if you don’t want to wait, here’s how to reset the Auction items in Scarlet and Violet.

Auctions are a new feature in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet that puts players against NPCs in bidding battles. Located in Porto Marinada’s market, several NPCs will allow players to bid against other trainers for certain items.

Some of these rare items can only be obtained in Auctions, and these include several needed for Legendary Pokemon to change forms. If you can’t find what you are looking for, you will have to wait 24 hours in real time for the item list to reset.

Since you may not want to wait, here’s all you need to know on how to reset Auction items in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to reset Auction items

To reset the Auction items in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players will need to change the Date and Time settings on their Nintendo Switch 24 hours forward. This means that you will have to turn off the “Synchronise Clock via Internet” option and change it manually.

Auction items will reset every 24 hours, and since the Switch era of Pokemon games arrived, changing the Date and Time of the console has been beneficial for many features in the game.

If you jump into an Auction and you don’t find the items needed, just exit and reset the whole process once again. Remember that Auction NPCs have a 70% chance of bidding low, and 30% of bidding high, so get your pockets ready.
