Sewaddle in Pokemon Go

Bug-type Pokemon aren’t always around, so here’s how to get Sewaddle in Pokemon Go, including how to evolve it and its shiny availability.

Pokemon Go has many species to catch from all nine generations, but some are featured more frequently than others. Bug-type Pokemon are great for dealing with Psyshic and Dark-type Pokemon, and Sewaddle’s evolutions can be good allies against those types.

Here’s how to get Sewaddle in Pokemon Go, including details on its shiny availability and how to evolve it into Swadloon and Leavanny.

How to catch Sewaddle in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go players can get Sewaddle by catching it in the wild in Pokemon Go.

Sewaddle is one of the featured Pokemon during the Bug Out event that runs until Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 8 PM (local time). What’s more, you’ll need to catch Sewaddle and evolve it twice if you’re looking to complete one of the event’s Collection Challenges.

Can Sewaddle be shiny in Pokemon Go?

No, shiny Sewaddle isn’t available in Pokemon Go yet. Although it’s been almost four years since Sewaddle debuted in Pokemon Go, trainers can’t get its shiny version yet. You might have to wait for Pokemon Go Fest 2024 or Sewaddle’s Community Day to finally get it.

We’ll make sure to update this section when shiny Sewaddle is available.

How to evolve Sewaddle into Swadloon & Leavanny in Pokemon Go

Trainers can evolve Sewaddle into Swadloon with 25 Candy, and then evolve Swadloon into Leavanny with 100 Candy in Pokemon Go.

While this evolution line doesn’t require a special method to evolve, getting Sewaddle Candy is easier said than done. We recommend using Pinap and Silver Pinap Berries to get as much Candy as possible out of each catch. Additionally, you can set Sewaddle as your Buddy, as it only needs to walk 1km to get Candy in Pokemon Go.

And there you have it! That’s everything you need to catch Sewaddle, Swadloon, and Leavanny in Pokemon Go. For more Pokemon content, make sure to check more guides below:
