Pokemon Go Bug Out 2024 event start & end date

The Pokemon Go Bug Out 2024 event runs until April 17, 2024, at 8 PM local time, after starting on April 12, 2024, at 10 AM.

Trainers participating in the event should know that Research and Collection Challenge rewards should be collected before April 17 at 7:59 PM.

Pokemon Go Bug Out 2024 event bonuses

You can enjoy the following bonuses during the Pokemon Go Bug Out 2024 event:

• 2x XP for successfully catching Pokemon with Nice Throws or better.
• Increased Candy yields for Nice Throws or better.
• Increased Candy XL yields for Nice Throws or better for Trainers level 31 and up.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Combee and Shiny Burmy.
• PokeStop showcases will be available, so keep an eye out for them.

The following Pokemon are appearing more frequently in the wild during the Pokemon Go Bug Out 2024 event:

• Wurmple*
• Kricketot*
• Combee*
• Sewaddle
• Dwebble*
• Nincada*
• Cutiefly*
• Burmy*

Those marked with a (*) can appear as shiny. Keep in mind that only Combee and Burmy have their spawn rates boosted during this event.

Pokemon Go Bug Out 2024 event Raids

The following species are appearing in Raids during the Pokemon Go Bug Out 2024 event:

One-Star Raids

• Pineco*
• Shuckle*
• Nincada*
• Skorupi*

Three-Star Raids

• Beedrill*
• Pinsir*
• Kleavor*

Five-Star Raids

• Tapu Bulu*

Mega Raids

• Mega Charizard X* (ends on April 13 at 10 AM local time)

Those marked with a (*) can also be shiny. Once trainers successfully complete an in-person Raid, more Pokemon will spawn near the Gym that hosted the Raid for 15 minutes.

It is also worth mentioning that shiny Raid Pokemon have a 100% catch success rate, so lucky trainers encountering one have a guaranteed catch and a decent chance to get extra candy using Pinap Berries.
