Pokemon Go Mareep Community Day Classic date & time

The Pokemon Go Mareep Community Day Classic event will kick off on Sunday, November 25, 2023, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.

This event will offer Pokemon Go players the chance to stock up on Candy and get the following evolutions:

• Evolve Mareep into Flaffy
• Evolve Flaffy into Ampharos

It’s important to mention that Ampharos can evolve into Mega Ampharos by using 200 Mega Energy. So, having it on your team could be a great chance to have an Electric-type Mega Evolution.

Can Mareep be shiny on Pokemon Go Community Day Classic?

Yes, shiny Mareep and its evolutions are available during the Pokemon Go November 2023 Community Day Classic. This event will be an excellent chance to get the shinies of these species as well as their evolutions.

Shiny Mareep can be evolved into shiny Flaffy, and subsequently, shiny Flaffy can be evolved into shiny Ampharos. During the event, the odds of encountering shiny Mareep will be boosted, so the rates will be 1 in 25 or 4% chance.

Pokemon Go Mareep Community Day Classic exclusive move

During the Mareep Community Day Classic, evolving Flaffy into Ampharos will give it the Dragon-type Charged Move Dragon Pulse.

Any Ampharos evolved between 2 PM and 10 PM local time on November 25, 2023, will be able to acquire this powerful Dragon-type legacy move.

After the event ends, to teach Dragon Pulse to Ampharos you will need to use an Elite Charged TM.

Dragon Pulse has the following stats in Pokemon Go:

• PvP battles: 90 power
• PvE battles: 90 power

Pokemon Go November 2023 Community Day Research tasks

The November 2023 Community Day Classic event will feature different Research tasks for Pokemon Go players to increase their chances of getting Mareep and its evolutions.

During the Community Day Classic Exclusive Field research will be available for all players and will task them with catching 3x Mareep, and will grant them the following rewards:

Mareep Community Day Classic Special Research

The Community Day Classic Special Research ticket will be available for $1 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) in the in-game shop and will grant players access to the exclusive Special Research story for the duration of the Mareep Community Day Classic.

You should keep in mind that tickets are non-refundable and that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal.

Pokemon Go November 2023 Community Day bonuses

Here’s the list of bonuses that are available during the November 2023 Mareep Community Day Classic in Pokemon Go:

• 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during the event period.
• 2x chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a chance to encounter Mareep (Up to 5 encounters).
• PokeStop Showcases will be enabled, and players can participate with their Mareep to earn more rewards.

Keep in mind that the last two bonuses will be active from 2 PM to 10 PM local time, while the others will only be active during the three-hour event. Golden Lure Modules are not affected by these bonuses.

How to prepare for Mareep Community Day in Pokemon Go

Here are some useful tips to help you prepare for Mareep Community Day Classic in Pokemon Go:

• You’ll need a lot of Poke Balls to catch as many of the featured Pokemon as you can.
• Berries are useful to catch Pokemon more effectively or increase the number of Candy obtained.
• Make sure you have enough space in your Pokemon Storage Box.
• Save Lure Modules and Incense for the Community Day since they usually last longer during the event.
• You can also use the PokeCoins you’ve earned during the week to spend on other useful items, like Lucky Eggs for more XP or Star Pieces for bonus Stardust.
