How to get Dr. Ratio in Honkai Star Rail for free

You can get Dr. Ratio in Honkai Star Rail for free by logging in to the game between the start of phase 2 version 1.6 on January 17, 2024, and the end of version 2.1 and completing the mission The Blue – A Moment of Peace.

Doing so will automatically send a copy of Dr. Ratio to you via in-game mail through which you can then collect and add him to your roster.

How to complete The Blue — A Moment of Peace quest in Honkai Star Rail

Luckily for newcomers, The Blue — A Moment of Peace is part of the tutorial quests in Honkai Star Rail. This particular segment is part of the first Traiblaze Mission titled Today Is Yesterday’s Tomorrow, and includes the gacha tutorial that rewards players with Asta and also unlocks the Travel Log feature.

This means that any player who spent at least an hour playing Honkai Star Rail already cleared this mission.

How to unlock the mailbox in Honkai Star Rail

You also obtain the quest to unlock the mailbox quite early in Honkai Star Rail, and which shouldn’t take more than an hour to get this done. Just focus on completing the initial Trailbaze missions allotted to you as they unlock core in-game features, including the mailbox.

You must unlock the in-game mail in Honkai Star Rail to get Dr. Ratio for free. While veterans must have unlocked the feature already, this is important for beginners who are yet to start their journey.

How to get Dr. Ratio Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail

You can get Dr. Ratio Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail by pulling on his banner during the second phase of the 1.6 update from January 17, 2024, to February 7, 2024. Alongside Dr. Ratio, the featured four-star characters in the banner are Sushang, Natasha, and Hook.

Keep in mind that you can only get one copy of Dr. Ratio for free in Honkai Star Rail. For his Eidolons, the procedure is the same as it is for any other featured five-star character.
