To play Diablo 4, you need an active internet connection, but does the game have the autosave feature? If you’re wondering how to save your game in Diablo 4, here’s everything that you need to know.

Diablo 4 is a game that is always online and has no single-player mode, which has left some wondering whether they can pause and save the game at their leisure.

So, how does the game save your progress, and does Diablo 4 have an autosave feature? This guide will tell you everything that you need to know about saving your game in Diablo 4.

Does Diablo 4 have autosave?

Yes, Diablo 4 does have the autosave feature, and it is available by default across all platforms. Whenever you log into the game and start killing monsters, whatever progress you make is automatically saved to the servers.

After you log out, the next time when you log into the game, you’ll be able to start from right where you left off.

However, if you were in the middle of an activity and you happened to quit the game, you will be transported to the nearest city Waypoint the next time you log in. You will lose all progress that you made in the activity.

Can you manually save the game in Diablo 4?

No, there is no way to manually save the game in Diablo 4. The entire process is automated, and your progress is backed up to the server via the game’s autosave feature.

Since all your progress is saved on the server, local save files don’t exist on your system either. If you want to reset your progress, all you need to do is start a new character in the game.

Diablo 4 lets you create up to 12 new characters, across the Eternal and the Seasonal realm, and if you’re running out of character space, you can always delete one.

That sums up everything that you need to know about the autosave feature in Diablo 4. For more information about the game, be sure to check out:
