How to get Wonder Weapons in MW3 Zombies: Ray Gun, V-R11, more

The MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded update introduced the V-R11 Schematic, joining the powerful Ray Gun and the rest of the Wonder Weapon roster. If you want to tackle the high-level Threat Zones in MWZ, here’s how to get all Wonder Weapons in Urzikstan.

Now that the Modern Warfare universe has its own Zombies game mode in MW3, players are eagerly awaiting new content each Season. The unique PvE experience on the Urzikstan map is full of Easter eggs and Act missions to complete.

While getting your weapons upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch can certainly help your progression in MW3 Zombies, the best weapons to secure are Wonder Weapons, which veteran Zombies fans will be extremely familiar with.

How to get Wonder Weapons in MW3 Zombies

You can get Wonder Weapons in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies through the Mystery Box, Reward Rifts, and Schematic Crafting.

The Mystery Box costs 950 Essence to use, and it will give you a random weapon, so you’ll need to be pretty lucky to get a Wonder Weapon. You can get Schematics as rewards for completing Contracts, the higher the threat zone, the better the rewards.

We recommend gearing up and trying your best to survive and complete contracts in the High-Level Threat Zones, as this will guarantee the best rewards and potentially get you a Schematic for one of the available Wonder Weapons.

How to get Wonder Weapons for free in MW3 Zombies

MW3 Zombies players can earn a secured Wonder Weapon Case drop from any of the available Warlord Boss missions in Urzikstan.

The Legacy Fortress Warlord Boss, Dokkaebi, or the newly added Keres can be defeated to obtain a free Wonder Weapon. These are not easy fights, so gear up with the best Perks, and Pack-a-Punch your weapons to tackle each Warlord strategically.

Can you exfil with a Wonder Weapon in MWZ?

Yes, you can exfil with a Wonder Weapon but it must be in a Weapon Case in your Inventory. If you open the Weapon Case and start using the Wonder Weapon, unfortunately, you cannot exfil with it and keep it in your loadout for the next match.

If you exfil with a Wonder Weapon that isn’t in a Weapon Case, it will be removed and automatically converted to 400 XP.

Every Wonder Weapon in MW3 Zombies

Here’s a full list of all the Wonder Weapons you can get in MW3 Zombies:

• Ray Gun
• Wunderwaffe DG-2
• Scorcher
• V-R11

There are currently only four Wonder Weapons in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, but we expect more to be added with each season. The Ray Gun and the Wunderwaffe DG-2 were part of MW3 Zombies’ launch, while the Scorcher was introduced in the Season 1 update.

The V-R11 Wonder Weapon arrived in Season 2, but it was only obtainable as a Weapon Case until the Season 2 Reloaded update, which introduced its craftable Schematic for players to obtain inside the Dark Aether Rifts.
