These major updates also come with a host of weapon buffs and nerfs, taking down the most dominant guns and moving underused choices into the meta. The KV Broadside Shotgun has been a major talking point since its arrival, with players begging for nerfs.

Players will be glad to hear the KV Broadside has finally been nerfed in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded, and here’s every buff and nerf in the update.

KV Broadside finally nerfed in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2

The KV Broadside Shotgun has been dominating both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 since its arrival in the Season 2 Battle Pass, and it finally got nerfed in the Season 2 Reloaded update.

What’s been hit hardest is its damage, with the deadly Shotgun receiving a lower torso damage reduction alongside nerfs to its 12 Gauge and Dragon’s Breath ammo. Whether it will still be a top choice remains to be seen, but at the very least it’ll be less powerful than it was before the update.

LMGs nerfed in Warzone 2

Light machine guns have been extremely powerful choices, especially in Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah, and the top choices receive substantial nerfs in Season 2 Reloaded. The RPK receives another nerf in Season 2 Reloaded, with the RAAL MG and Sakin MG38 also getting hit.

The RAAL has seen the most severe nerf, reducing its overall damage, range potential, and increasing its recoil. The Sakin also deals less damage over range and the RPK has reduced walking speed and lower bullet velocity.
