Following on from the success of Fortnite‘s collaborations, Call of Duty has included characters from some of the biggest franchises out there, with Ghostface, Rambo, John McClane, and The Terminator hitting the store.
Following the football players arriving in Season 1, Call of Duty have announced that Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2‘s next collaboration will be with the ever-popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
TMNT antagonist Shredder will arrive as a brand-new Operator, so here’s how to unlock the Shredder Operator in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded including its release date, cosmetics, and expected price.
Shredder Operator release date in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2
The Call of Duty Twitter account confirmed that the Shredder Operator will arrive in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on March 21, 2023.
This is just under a week from Season 2 Reloaded’s release date, so you’ll have plenty of time to unlock the Captain Price “Bad Boonie” Operator skin and claim the free Warzone anniversary rewards before it arrives.
How to unlock Shredder in Warzone 2 & MW2: Expected price
The Shredder Operator can be purchased from the Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Store when it arrives on March 21, and we’d expect it to cost 2400 CoD Points ($19.99).
As a major crossover bundle with three different Weapon Blueprints and cosmetics, it will cost at least 2400 CoD Points.
What’s included with Shredder Operator in Warzone 2 & MW2?
Shredder brings his Steel Claws to any Operator.Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2’s Shredder Operator arrives with three weapon Blueprints, a vehicle skin, and a weapon charm.
Here’s everything confirmed for the Shredder bundle so far:

- “Saki” Assault Rifle Blueprint
- “Steel Claws” Dual Kodachi Weapon Blueprint
- Weapon Vinyl
- Vehicle Skin for the Light Tank

The Steel Claws Dual Kodachi Blueprint will give Shredder’s classic claws to any Operator “to make your opponents taste his blades.”
Season 2 Reloaded will also bring a new Raid for Modern Warfare 2, a brand-new multiplayer map, the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle, and new weapon camos through the Path of the Ronin event.
