With Sea of Thieves finally making its way to PS5, many players are left wondering whether the game is also available on PS4. So, here’s everything you need to know.

Formerly an Xbox exclusive, Sea of Thieves is arriving on PS5 on April 30, and PS4 players might be interested in knowing if they can go on seafaring adventures of their own. The co-op title is landing on PlayStation shores after years of being exclusive to Microsoft Platforms, but is it available on Sony’s last-gen machine?

On that note, here’s everything you need to know about Sea of Thieves on PS4.

Is Sea of Thieves coming to PS4?

No, Sea of Thieves is not available on PS4 and there is no official information on whether the game will be released on the platform. At the time of writing, Sea of Thieves is only dropping on PS5 with no mention of a PS4 release.

The game’s presence on Xbox One suggests that a PS4 port is certainly feasible, maybe with some graphical concessions. However, the devs might have decided to skip the platform entirely, dedicating resources to a PS5 port instead.

It remains to be seen whether a PS4 release will be considered in the future. Although, it appears unlikely as of now.
