Homeworld 3 campaign & gameplay explained

Homeworld 3 continues the story of the previous two titles in the franchise. A relative peace is suddenly broken by the appearance of a catastrophic failure in the Hyperspace Gate Network, caused by mysterious circumstances.

Karan S’jet seems to be the key to solving this threat, and you will be tasked with leading the fleet against the enemies of mankind once more, as you try to track down the whereabouts of the legendary Kushan neuroscientist.

Homeworld 3 will offer a full PvE campaign, alongside a multiplayer Cooperative mode, and PvP multiplayer game mode.

One of the main characteristics of Homeworld 3 is its persistent world and according to the devs every battle has lasting results: “Scars on your ships linger. Strike craft pilots and capital ship captains pass along critical information through battlefield chatter.”
