Rusty's Retirement horizontal layout

Rusty’s Retirement can sit on the bottom or side of your screen while you go about your day, but can you change the orientation to vertical or horizontal once you’ve selected your farm? Here is everything you need to know.

You don’t need to make a lot of choices in Rusty’s Retirement. Start up the game, choose your farm and where the game will sit on your screen, and you can start playing immediately

It’s not super clear at first if you can change the orientation of where the game sits (horizontal or vertical across your screen) once you’ve started a save. Here are the answers.

Can you change your layout in Rusty’s Retirement?

No, you cannot change the layout in Rusty’s Retirement once you have started your save.

There is no way to change this setting once you have started your farm. If you would prefer to use one or the other, you have to start a new game.

How to change your screen to vertical in Rusty’s Retirement

You need to select the vertical option at the start of your save in Rusty’s Retirement to set it to the side of your screen.

When you start a new save, the game will automatically land on the bottom of your screen. You can change this setting, though, and all you need to do is select the option. This should be right next to the horizontal setting, so just click it and start your save to make it vertical.

That’s everything to know about the screen orientation in Rusty’s Retirement! If you want to know more about games coming out soon, make sure to check out our guides below.
