Blizzard’s ARPG can be a challenge when trying to get the best stats to survive its endgame and even when trying to go “solo” against major World Bosses. Here’s what tricks the Diablo 4 community shared to maximize damage during Season 2.

Diablo 4 has an extensive list of challenges that let players put their builds to the test during the endgame. Even if players are adamant that Blizzard’s ARPG is meant to be played as a single player, some fans find it tricky to get the best build that suits their gameplay and lets them survive in Sanctuary.

There are a plethora of builds that can guide players through Diablo 4’s hardest tiers, but true fans know that there are some key tricks that can help anyone to level up their characters and achieve max damage while discovering their game style.

In a Reddit post called “I reached level 100 but I don’t know what to do or how to deal more damage,” a Diablo 4 player explained that they’re focusing on leveling up a Necromancer but that they can’t seem to get up their damage stats.

“I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I realized people have 12 points on their core skills. I unfortunately only have 9, with 4 levels from my gloves. So what I’m asking is how can I deal more damage and what endgame activities should I go for after reaching level 21 on my glyphs?,” asked Redditor ‘F3rmium.’

Diablo 4 players pointed out that a good idea was to redo the Paragon Board once getting to Level 100. “At least go through it and min/max for dmg,” commented ‘Efficient-Shallot7776,’ which means restructuring a whole build focusing only on leveling up one stat.

Reddit user ‘mildhonesty’ offered precious insight to help even those who haven’t sought help in guides and explained how to handle damage buffs in each build.

“You want to think about what you are trying to do and what synergies you have. All damage affixes are equal apart from what condition is required for it to activate (you want the ones that your build can easily activate), and the roll range,” pointed out the Redditor.

The same Reddit user also offered a shortened list of what bosses and events can be grinded to maximize damage. This method contemplates most builds and focuses on players getting 4 necessary affix roles on chararacters’ rolls. Here’s what the Diablo 4 player described:

  • Farm Duriel or World Bosses for item power 925 weapon.
  • Farm Duriel for Tibault’s Will.
  • Farm Duriel for uber uniques (Harlequin Crest aka Shako and Grandfather).
  • Farm Zir for Lidless Wall.
  • Complete Whispers for gold.
  • Do Blood Harvest 150 summon to obtain Aspects and crafting materials.
  • Do Abattoir of Zir for glyph leveling
  • Salvage everything you don’t use for crafting materials.
  • Make sure all your armor is above item power 780 and your jewelry above 860 pre-upgrades to have the highest roll ranges. Weapons need to be 925 and is a huge contributor to your damage.

And that’s what tricks Diablo 4 players shared to maximize damage during Season of Blood. If you want to know more about Diablo 4’s ARPG, you can check why fans think that endgame content “discourages multiplayer” and what inventory issue is causing players to quit Diablo 4.
