The Diablo 4 Season 3 Gatehall is a new hub that Blizzard added in the Season of the Construct. Fans have shown a positive reaction to this new hub and have requested the developers to keep it even after the season ends.

In Diablo 4, every town and village in the game acts as a hub. Within these hubs, players have access to different vendors including the Blacksmith and the Occultist.

At these vendors, players can purchase different items and upgrade their weapons and gear with ease. However, most of the vendors in these Diablo 4 hubs are located far apart, so players need to move around a bit more to access them.

With the Gatehall hub in Diablo 4, every important vendor is placed within close proximity so players can easily access these vendors. This hub is being regarded as one of the most important quality-of-life changes in the current season.

As posted on Reddit by player ‘Such_Performance229’, this hub is phenomenal.

Player ‘ZeieyXug’ said, “I don’t think it matters as far as nightmare vaults go because yeah no matter what you can teleport to the start but it is nice having everything I need in one place. That one city I think Gea Kul where you have to go up that ladder to get to Occultist sucks.”

Others came up with more ideas like setting up a place where they could teleport to with the press of a button. In that regard, player ‘KnowMatter’ said, “Expand the Tree of Whispers base into a full base like Gatehall, let me set my TP to always go there.”

Players further added that they preferred the Tree of Whispers as a hub in Diablo 4 as well. This area had the Blacksmith, the Occultist, and the Stash close to each other. ‘Burnerboo’ said, “This is the way. Definitely the best area to sell, stash, (and) reset bags to zero before heading out for more hack and slash.”

While Season 3 had a rocky start, the new patch seems to have addressed some of the issues that players were having. Following such positive feedback, it will be interesting to see if Blizzard chooses to retain the Diablo 4 Gatehall hub once the season ends.
