Warzone players are getting a new Public Event in Season 2 called Rogue Signal. For those wondering how it works, here’s everything you need to know.

The Warzone Season 2 update brings exciting content to the free-to-play battle royale, with new weapons, the return of Fortune’s Keep, and a fresh Battle Pass to enjoy.

That’s not all, as there are many new gameplay features for players, most of which are arriving exclusively on Fortune’s Keep. As well as Zombies Power-Ups and the new Eradication Contract, Warzone players will also encounter a new Public Event called Rogue Signal.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Rogue Signal Public Event in Warzone Season 2.

Warzone Rogue Signal Public Event explained

Warzone‘s new Rogue Signal Public Event in Season 2 is a competitive one, as it sees players working against enemy teams to complete the same task, which could range from getting the most kills to opening the most loot caches.

It’s important to note that this Public Event is only available on Fortune’s Keep and for a limited time only.

When the Rogue Signal Public Event starts, players will see a notification and “new HUD element with an objective, a scoreboard, and your (or your team’s) placement compared to your rivals.”

If you manage to complete the task and finish in the top three of the scoreboard for the Rogue Signal Public Event, you will gain “Cash, XP, and a special unique Reward Cache.”

Depending on where you finish, you will receive a varying amount of Cash. The Reward Cache will also be pinged on the map for you to travel to and open, but beware, as your rivals are also on their way. The first team to open the Cache first receives the reward.

The reward is randomized, will not remain with you after the match, and, according to the blog, it could even feature a “Wonder Weapon from MWZ.”
